Kaduna State no More on Curfew
The Kaduna State Government
has loosened up the free movement limit forced on Kaduna city and environs.
The check in time for
Sunday kept going till 5pm, and from Monday, October 29, 2018, the time limit
is likewise loose from 6am to 5pm.
An announcement by
Samuel Aruwan, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor (Media and Publicity)
stated that "inhabitants of Kaduna city, Kasuwan Magani, Kajuru and Kateri
currently join the general population of Kachi in having free movement amid
daytime hours".
However, Samuel Aruwan
on his statement clearly made it known that ‘night time’ curfew hours will continue to be enforced from 5pm to
6am until further notice.
Again, he said, "Banks
and markets are expected to reopen and deliver services as usual. The Kaduna
State Government has also requested the airlines and the Nigerian Railway
Corporation to promptly resume normal services to Kaduna”.
